LUFS Compressor for Ableton Live

LUFS Compressor brings loudness-based compression to Ableton Live. Instead of reacting to raw peaks or RMS values, it measures the perceived loudness of your audio in real-time, and compresses based on how you actually hear – producing musical results that stay tight and controlled.

What it does: Estimates the momentary LUFS of your signal (K-Weighted, 300ms integration) and applies gain reduction based on this loudness measurement.

Why it's different: Most compressors respond to amplitude peaks or RMS – but your ears hear loudness. LUFS Compressor hears like the average human ear: it listens to perceived loudness, ignores ultra-quiet noise floor content (below -70dB), and reacts smoothly to musical changes.

The result: Silky, transparent compression that still sounds musical, even when you hyper-compress. Perfect for vocals, basses, full mixes, or any sound where you want controlled dynamics that still breathe naturally.
